In essence, it has good meat and bones, had fun playing it but could use somethings to make it a better experience.
Got me with a few scares, little extra happening to spook it up would be nice, a sprint option would be great since the door numbers are just in whatever order they want to be so you go a lot of slowish walking... and if you go for the second ending.. be prepared to walk even more, through the whole game again, just small things
Overall, had fun playing it, it had pretty good story for the build up and poor life choice of the main character, not a bad little horror game.
In spite of the Verizon gameplay (where is there no Sprint button 😫), this game was a good time. I wish there was a little more setup before the story tone changed and maybe one more ending (revenge for 191!)
really great worldbuilding for a small, contained experience like this, used more than just outright scares to communicate fear and discomfort with the audience, really enjoyed it, would be really interested to play a longer experience made by you guys for those reasons, loved it :)
This horror game managed to scare me, but only at the very end. While the atmosphere was decent, the real tension only built up towards the finale, where a well-executed plot twist added some excitement.
However, I had a few issues with the gameplay. The lack of animations made the experience feel static and less immersive. On top of that, not being able to run took away some of the tension that a horror game should have. The biggest downside, though, was the absence of a save system. Considering the game has two different endings, forcing players to replay everything from the start felt frustrating.
Overall, it had potential, but the lack of polish and key gameplay features held it back.
Por algo me olía mal este hotel de mala muerte... Recomendado, excelente la ambientación y la tensión generada, sigue así!! Dejo mi gameplay para que lo disfruten, abrazo!!
A pretty well-made experience with a decent amount of tension to it. The more interactive elements kept things moving fine where I could briefly forget I was playing a horror game though character movement is a little on the slow side. Good build up towards the end with a pretty funny jumpscare. Overall, a decent game, made a little video with it.
I definitely saw the F2F inspiration. There is a softlock glitch where after the bad ending I can not get past the picking up trash segment. Overall fun game!
One of the better "hotel" horror games on itch imo. This game had a great story and the environment is super well done! The multiple endings give great replayability as well. Well done Dev!
I made a video on your game if you're interested :)
this was so much fun! Had a blast playing. Definitely felt like fears of fathom for sure! Considering I had done the whole series uploaded to the channel! Had to hop on this! Thanks for the opportunity!
Don't take it personally, jumpscares didn't work but I tend to not react to jumpscares (easily) so just ignore that I didn't get got
The ambiance didn't work for me (didn't work on me but yet again, just ignore that maybe) either but has potential, the thing to me is that the rythm has to get some touch ups:
> I do understand that our guy doesn't need to run since it's more of an IRL vibe, but he is very very slow (same as the dialogues)
It would have been great to be able to hide under the bed! Still got both the endings though (pretty realistic ones, fits the vibe you were going for!) :)
I reiterate I don't think it's bad at all, but since it didn't work on me I can't say it's good-good, it might just be me.

This was an excellent piece of work here! https://youtu.be/OTmZ7sjcm7c
Quite the creepy indie horror game! Tense atmosphere and quite the effect scares.
Well done!
Pretty good little story, left me wanting more.
ALSO... PEEEEEEAAAAANUTS
This game got me to jump out of my chair when I discovered one of two endings

Whoever made this game cooked!!! love the ps1 style horror games they just tickle that itch for me.
Really enjoyed this game! The pictures on the wall were just uncomfortable. The jumpscare got me pretty good too! Great work!

This game truly played on my paranoia. Checking every corner waiting for the worse, solid game
It's not bad but it just didn't work on me :|
